Career: Oregon HC Kelly Graves says of Sabally, “She's incredibly versatile, with the athleticism, toughness and intelligence to guard multiple positions. She's skilled enough to play both inside and out offensively.” … Originally enrolled at UO hoping to play alongside older sister, Satou, who went on to become the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 Draft by the Dallas Wings. Ultimately, the sisters did not play together as Nyara missed the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, both times after undergoing knee surgery. A native of Germany, she went on to become a 2x All-Pac-12 Team selection in 2021 and ’22. Also capped 2022 campaign as 1 of 10 semifinalists for Katrina McClain Award as nation’s top power forward and as a Pac-12 All-Tournament Team selection.
