Career Description
Freeport, Bahamas native moved to Maryland at 14 under guardianship of Riverdale Baptist coach Diane Richardson. As a youth, played on court father, Preston, built in her grandma’s backyard. After becoming just third Bahamian woman to earn a D-I hoops scholarship in U.S., leaves GW after 2+ seasons (spent freshman year at Clemson) ranked among program's career leaders in scoring, rebounds, blocks and as a three-time All-Atlantic 10 Conf. pick. In each of her 2+ seasons, was only A-10 player to avg. a double-double. 2015-16: All-America Hon. Mention (AP). All-A-10 Second Team. Her 14.6 rpg would’ve led nation but, having missed 10 games due to injury, did not meet minimums. Was 4th in A- 10 in scoring; led Colonials to 2nd straight conf. title. In final game (vs. Kansas St. in NCAAs, scored GW's final 11 pts to finish with 20p, 13r, 6b. 2014-15: A-10 Player of Year and Def. POY; 6th in nation in rebounding; paced A-10 in all rebounding stats. Posted league-best 20 double-doubles (10th in D-I); broke GW’s decades old single-season rebound mark. 2013-14: After transferring, was eligible Dec. 21; went on to be named All-A-10 Second Team; led A-10 in rebounding; was 2nd in double-doubles.
