Where Are They Now?

With the end of the 2005 WNBA season, many people are wondering what the Sun players will be up to in the off-season. Here is a little list of what some of the players will be doing.

Sun guard Katie Douglas tied the knot this off-season. Katie got married on September 29th in Greece. Katie and teammate Jen Derevjanik will return to Lithuania this off-season to play for Lietuvos Telekomas.
Brooke Wyckoff was selected by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA Expansion Draft.
Lindsay Whalen is busy recovering from a fracture in her left knee that kept her from playing at full strength during the WNBA Finals. Once her knee is fully recovered, Lindsay is expected to play for Yekaterinburg, Russia.
Rookie Laura Summerton has returned to Australia and continued right on playing basketball. Laura�s team, Adelaide Fellas, began their season with a 93-84 victory over the Townsville Fire. Playing alongside Laura on the Adelaide Fellas is Sun second round draft pick Erin Phillips. Laura had 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots in the win. Erin had 17 points, ten assists and seven rebounds.
Sun rookie Jamie Carey returned to her alma mater at the University of Texas to work on her graduate degree. In January, Jamie will be returning to her home state of Colorado to play for the Colorado Chill of the NWBL (National Women�s Basketball League).
Nykesha Sales,after enjoying a little of the offseason at her home in Orlando, is playing basketball overseas for the first time in her career. She is playing for BRNO in the Czech Republic.
Taj McWilliams-Franklin, after a stop back in Italy ,will be playing ball in Seoul, South Korea for Shin Han Bank.
Asjha Jones will be playing for Novasibiris in Russia.
Margo DydekMargo Dydek will be taking some time off from playing during this off-season.
Jess BrungoJess Brungo will be interning with the Golden State Warriors.
Le�Coe Willingham is returning to Israel this off-season to play for Haifa Motzkin.
