Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 13 years of age or older as of 6/1/02. Minors must obtain their parent's or legal guardian's consent prior to participation. Employees of WNBA Enterprises, LLC ("Sponsor"), the Women's National Basketball Association ("WNBA") and its teams, licensees, sponsors, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, advertising/promotion agencies, and Project Support Team, Inc. ("PST") and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.
How to Enter: The WNBA "Summer Love" Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 6/1/02 and ends at 11:59:59PM ET on 9/2/02 ("promotion period") and features (10) Entry Periods as set forth below. To enter: 1.) Watch select WNBA broadcasts on NBC, ESPN and/or ESPN2 for announcements of the WNBA "Summer Love" Code (hereinafter "Code") or listen for the Code during in-arena announcements at select WNBA games. A unique Code will be announced during each Entry Period. Visit WNBA.com for a list of participating NBC, ESPN and ESPN2 games; 2.) Visit WNBA.com during the promotion period; and 3.) Complete and submit the online entry form according to the instructions provided. As part of the entry process, you will be required to submit the correct Code for the applicable Entry Period. Entries submitted with incorrect Codes will be void. Limit one entry per person and per e-mail address during each daily 24-hour period of each Entry Period (as defined below). Additional entries received from any one person or e-mail address thereafter during any such Entry Period will be void. The use of any device which automates the entry process is prohibited. In the event that a Code is not announced due to broadcast cancellation, suspension (and not resumed) or preemption or for any other reason or is inaccurately announced, correct Code will be displayed online at WNBA.com for a period of 24-hours following broadcast day at issue. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, incomplete, late or misdirected entries or submissions; garbled, incomplete or inaccurate Code announcements on-air or in-arena; theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; failures or malfunctions of phones, phonelines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; errors in these Official Rules, in any sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; the selection or announcement of winners or the distribution of prizes; the failure for any reason of a Code to be announced; the unavailability of any ESPN and/or ESPN2 broadcast on an entrant's cable service during any portion of the sweepstakes; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of games or broadcasts; or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise.
Judging/Entry Periods: For each Entry Period listed below, (1) Grand Prize winner and Secondary Prize winners (in quantities denoted below) will be selected in individual random drawings from among all eligible entries received during said Entry Period. Drawings will be conducted by PST, an independent judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or mail. Prizes will be awarded to the person named on applicable winning entry regardless of whether that is the name of the owner of email address from which said entry was submitted. If an eligible minor is selected as a prize winner, prize will be awarded in the name of said minor's parent or legal guardian and, if a trip prize winner, parent or legal guardian will be required to be accompanied by said minor on applicable trip. Odds of winning any prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing. Limit one prize per person, email address, family or household. Entries received during one Entry Period will not carry forward to subsequent Entry Periods. Drawings will be conducted in accordance with the Entry Periods outlined below, beginning at 12:00:01AM ET and ending at 11:59:59PM ET on the specified start and end dates:

Total ARV of all prizes=$56,541.80. All trip prizes must be taken on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Travel and accommodation restrictions apply for all trip prizes and travel/hotel arrangements to be determined by Sponsor. Trip prize winners and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary. Any minor guest must also be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. If, during any trip prize, a prize-related event or activity is canceled or postponed for any reason, travel prize will be awarded less applicable prize-related activity(s) and Sponsor will substitute that activity(s) with an item(s)/activity(s) of equal or greater value as determined solely by Sponsor. Event date, time, and duration of Lady Foot Locker Shopping Spree are at Sponsor's sole discretion and products obtained during Shopping Spree may not be returned or exchanged. Other Shopping Spree restrictions may apply. All Gift Certificates awarded expire one year from date of issuance and are subject to redemption restrictions. Exact nature of activities surrounding celebrity appearances set forth above shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All celebrity appearances are subject to availability. If any named celebrity is unavailable to attend a specified event for any reason, an individual of similar stature as determined by Sponsor will participate in his/her absence. AIG VALIC Grand Prize may be transferred to a third party or substituted for a comparable AIG VALIC product of equal value, subject to Sponsor's approval at its sole discretion. Miscellaneous: Except as set forth above, no transfer assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prizes (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, and then for a prize of equal or greater value. Federal, state, and local taxes and all other expenses not specified herein are winners' sole responsibility. Winners of prizes in excess of $600 (if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release within 3 days of issuance of notification. Trip traveling companion(s) (if minor, his/her respective parent or legal guardian) will also be required to sign and return a Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to the issuance of travel documents. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner at Sponsor's sole discretion. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Trip prize winners attending WNBA events and their traveling companion(s) also agree to comply with all WNBA rules, regulations, and directions relating to attendance at WNBA sanctioned events and/or other activities and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such event. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: 1.) disqualify any person and void any entries of any person who it believes has tampered with the entry process, the operation of WNBA.com, or any other component of this Sweepstakes, whose conduct or actions affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, or who is in violation of these Official Rules and 2.) modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, including but not limited to war, strikes, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination or suspension, at its discretion, award prize from among eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event requiring such termination or suspension. By participating, entrants (if minor, his/her respective parent or legal guardian) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1.) Sponsor, the WNBA and its teams, licensees, sponsors, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, and advertising/promotion agencies may use (unless prohibited by law) their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, visual and/or audio likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for the purpose of posting their name on WNBA.com and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification and 2.) the aforestated parties, PST, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be released and held harmless from any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to winner or any third party or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any element of prize and any travel or prize activities related thereto or participation in this Sweepstakes.
