Darling Models For Assistance League

Darling models a Sigrid a-line skirt with a velvet jacket and silk turtleneck.
On Monday, November 14, guard Helen Darling hit the runway to help raise funds for the Assistance League of Charlotte. She joined other local celebrities including Robin Fox, wife of Carolina Panthers Head Coach John Fox, Shannon Royster, reporter/anchor for FOX Charlotte, Angie Smith, wife of Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith, City Council members Susan Burgess, Don Lochman and Nancy Carter as well as Sonja Gantt, Terri Bennett, Larry Sprinkle and Bobby Sisk from WCNC in the annual Savor the Season Fashion Show.

The models, attired in fashions from Sigrid Olsen, Tommy Bahama, Brighton Collectibles and Montaldo's Furs, were on hand to help the Assistance League raise funds for new school clothing as part of Operation School Bell. Operation School Bell provides children in need in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools with basic school clothing and books to enhance self-esteem, promote learning and encourage regular school attendance.
