Danielle Robinson Selected for the 2013 All Star Game
It is the first career All-Star nod for Robinson, who is in her third professional season after being selected by the Silver Stars with the sixth overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft. Robinson has consistently led the league in assists per game throughout the 2013 season � currently sitting at 6.6 assists per game � while maintaining the lowest assist to turnover ratio (2.35). She heads into the All-Star break averaging a career-high 10.8 points per game with 1.65 steals per contest.
Robinson will join Minnesota�s Seimone Augustus, Rebekkah Brunson, Maya Moore and Lindsay Whalen, Phoenix�s Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi, Los Angeles� Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike and Tulsa�s Glory Johnson on the Western Conference squad. The 2013 WNBA All-Star Game will take place Saturday, July 27 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. (3:30 p.m., ABC-TV).
