The Antioch Community Sports Complex

Antioch Sports Complex and Community Center is the official training facility of the San Antonio Stars. Conveniently located a mile from the AT&T Center, the Antioch Community Sports Complex was developed by Antioch Community Transformation Network with the support of Spurs Sports & Entertainment.

Antioch Missionary Baptist Church began a capital campaign to raise funds for the construction of the Antioch Community Sports Complex in 2003. The project broke ground on Oct. 26, 2003 and two years later was dedicated in a ceremony that included city officials, the San Antonio Stars team and staff, members of the Spurs organization and the entire Antioch family on April 30, 2005. The Antioch Community Sports Complex officially opened to the public on May 2, 2005.

The 22,645 square foot state-of-the-art sports and fitness center houses the Stars practice court, locker room, training room, weight room and offices serving as the year-round headquarters for the team's basketball operations staff.

In addition to the Stars facilities, Antioch Sports complex and Community Center houses a dance and aerobic room, walking track, men's and women's locker rooms complete with sauna, steam room and whirlpool, an activity room and a full-service concession stand. The basketball court meets both NBA and NCAA regulations and can also transformed to a regulation volleyball court.

In addition to serving as the official practice facility of the Stars, Antioch is home to the Silver Sneakers Program, annual African American Seniors Conference, countless AAU and high school sporting events and serves as a practice facility for visiting NBA teams during the San Antonio Spurs season.

Antioch Sports Complex and Community Center is open to the community for a membership fee and is available for lease for meetings, banquets, parties, family reunions and other special events. Please contact Mike Mitchell, Jr. at 210.270.0944 or mmitchell@actnsa.org for available dates and rates.
