Sky Hold Basketball Clinic at Guerin Prep

The Chicago Sky hosted a youth basketball clinic this week at Guerin Prep High School in River Grove. 30 boys and girls worked with Sky staffers on their basketball fundamentals from shooting skills to ball handling to passing. After two great days of basketball, all of the campers enjoyed a pizza party to celebrate their improvement and passion for the game.

The Sky will hold its next youth basketball clinic in Arlington Heights at Pioneer Park, 500 S. Fernandez Ave, on July 28 and 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 7-12 year olds and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for 13-17 year olds. The cost is $50 and includes admission to both days of camp, a ticket to a 2012 Sky game, a Sky T-shirt, a Sky gift and pizza party.

This clinic will also include an appearance from two of your favorite Sky players, who will be answering questions about what its like to be a professional athlete and how they achieved their goals as well as handing out awards and signing autographs.
