Jump Rope for Heart

The Chicago Sky and the American Heart Association partnered together to kick off the Jump Rope for Heart program at the Chicago Academy. In attendance were over 600 students grades K-8, Sky forward Amanda Lassiter, as well as Sky Guy who stopped by to make a special appearance to visit with the students.

Amanda discussed the importance of healthy living, exercise, and supporting the AHA Jump Rope for Heart mission. As extra incentive, Amanda and Sky Guy were sure to fill the students in on all the prizes they can win by reaching certain levels of sponsorship, which include the opportunity to win tickets to a Sky game.

Jump Rope for Heart is an annual educational fundraising event that takes place in thousands of schools across the United States.
