    What They're Saying

"A perennial all-star in the backcourt and member of the foreign legion of WNBA stars in terms of her Portuguese homeland, Ticha is another who has been one of the top names in the league all along the way not far from the inaugural season. She along with center Yolanda Griffith made Sacramento a contender almost every season."

-- Mel Greenberg, Woman Hoops Guru

"A true artist with the passing game, underrated defender."

    -- Mechelle Voepel, ESPN

"Penicheiro has a gift for making difficult plays look like childs play. Some of the passes shes made over the years still baffle me. How was she able to see through all that traffic? How did she know that player was going to be there? Ive said it before, but Penicheiro is a player Id pay to watch play anytime."
