MYSTICS TO WEBCAST GAMES FOR UPCOMING SEASON

Washington, D.C. � The Washington Mystics will webcast over 30 of its games live on www.washingtonmystics.com using WNBA LiveAccess. All of the Mystics contests on WNBA LiveAccess will then be archived for on-demand viewing. Blackout will apply for games to be televised nationally.

Washington will utilize TriCaster, a portable live production and virtual set system, to stream games from their arena, to a worldwide audience. The TriCaster technology used to create the live webcasts has already been proven in the NBA Development League the last two seasons, and provides a quality viewing experience by using existing cameras in each arena.

�WNBA LiveAccess will provide Mystics fans with a new level of access to WNBA action, particularly Mystics road games,� Mystics Chief Operating Officer Greg Bibb stated. �With over 30 games broadcast live online, our fans will be able to see more Mystics basketball than ever before. We are excited to deliver this new technology and engage our fans in an innovative way.�

The WNBA featured the first live video webcast of a game in women�s professional sports history when WNBA.com streamed the Detroit Shock against the Charlotte Sting on May 31, 2003. Previously, the NBA became the first major professional sports league to webcast a live game when NBA.com streamed the Dallas Mavericks against the Sacramento Kings on April 13, 2001.

The Washington Mystics will tip off the 2009 season on Saturday, June 6, on the road against the Connecticut Sun. Washington will host the club�s home opener on Sunday, June 7, against the Atlanta Dream.
