CAPITOL 2 CAPITOL CAMPAIGN SLOGAN CONTEST
RULES & REGULATIONS

June 6 - June 12, 2007

Official Rules

(1) How to Enter: No purchase necessary. There are two methods to enter the Contest:

(i) Submit your 2007 Capitol 2 Capitol campaign slogan entry to sacramentomonarchs@arcoarena.com between the dates of June 6, 2007 and June 12, 2007. Include your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers and the words �Monarchs 2007 Capitol 2 Capitol Campaign Slogan Contest� in the email. One (1) entry per person per player is allowed.

(ii) Hand print your campaign slogan, name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, email address and the words " Monarchs 2007 Capitol 2 Capitol Campaign Slogan Contest " on a 4" x 5" card. The slogan should be mailed in a postage stamped self-addressed envelope to " Monarchs 2007 Capitol 2 Capitol Campaign Slogan Contest", Arco Arena, One Sports Parkway, Sacramento, California 95834; Attention: Carly Montoya. Campaign slogans must be received no later than June 12, 2007. The Sacramento Monarchs, owned and operated by The Sacramento Kings Limited Partnership, LP., will not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged, destroyed, postage due, or misdirected entries. One (1) entry per person per player is allowed.

(2) Who Can Play: Contest is open to residents of Northern California, except employees and immediate families (siblings and children) of The Sacramento Monarchs, Sacramento Kings and ARCO Arena and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, licenses, directors, owners, employees and agents. There is no age limit on the age of entrants. Campaign slogans, once received, become the property of The Sacramento Monarchs.

(3) Contest Prize: By June 13, 2007, a selection of judges that represent The Sacramento Monarchs will select up to five (5) slogans for each player. Between the dates of June 14, 2007 and June 19, 2007, fans will vote for a slogan for each player on SacramentoMonarchs.com. The winning slogans will be determined based on fan votes. Winners will be notified on or before 9:00am Pacific Time on June 20th, 2007, and will be notified via telephone message, e-mail and/or US Postal mail.

(4a) The winning slogans will be displayed on SacramentoMonarchs.com campaign pages for individual players. In the event the winner cannot be contacted, alternate winners may be selected. In the event the winner declines, the winning slogan may still be displayed.

(5) By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and Regulations and hold harmless and indemnify The Sacramento Monarchs, the Women�s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and its members teams and WNBA Properties Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant�s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prize awarded in the contest.

(6) In consideration for being awarded a prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of the winner�s name, campaign slogan and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by The Sacramento Monarchs, the Women�s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and its members teams and WNBA properties Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, except were prohibited by law.

(7) Contest void where prohibited.

Before being awarded a prize, the potential winner must agree to a Sacramento Monarchs standard General Release and Use Authorization form, releasing the Released Parties from any and all liability arising from, among other things: (i) participation in the Contest; and (ii) acceptance of the prize awarded therein; and (iii) the administration of the Contest and distribution of the prize awarded therein.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with potential prize winners. The Sacramento Monarchs reserves the right to substitute prize and/or prizes of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part (including altering the manner in which the prizes are distributed), at any time, without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to, viruses, bugs, tampering or other causes beyond The Sacramento Monarchs control affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. In the event a substitute prize is awarded, such prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. Further, The Sacramento Monarchs reserves the right to disqualify any person and void any entries of that person who it believes has tampered with the entry process or any other component of the Contest, whose conduct or action affects the administration, security or fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, or who fails to meet or abide by the Contest Rules and Regulations.

The Sacramento Monarchs does not assume any responsibility for tampering, theft, defects, viruses, human errors including negligence, deletions, technical or telephone, computer line, network, server, access providers, computer equipment or software problems, undeliverable messages, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late or incomplete entries or inaccurate capture of information or any online difficulties that may result in damage or malfunction the computer or the failure of to The Sacramento Monarchs process any entry and otherwise award any prize. Nor is responsibility assumed for printing errors appearing in these rules or related Contest materials. In addition, The Sacramento Monarchs will not assume any responsibility of any nature whatsoever in all cases where their inability to hold the Contest or to remit the prize to the winner results from a cause beyond their control, including Acts of God, weather conditions, strike, lock-out or other labor dispute. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should an attempt be made, The Sacramento Monarchs reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
