Lynx Launch Re-Designed Website

With new uniforms and an improved roster featuring Maya Moore, Amber Harris and Taj McWilliams-Franklin, we felt it was important to change the design of our website to stay consistent with our new image, said Lynx Chief Operating Officer Conrad Smith. The amount of support we've received surrounding the upcoming season is tremendous, and our website goes a long way in connecting with our fans. The new website will give Lynx fans an even better look inside our team as we begin our 13th season of professional women's basketball in Minnesota."
The new LynxBasketball.com features a larger top stories module, which highlights some of the website's unique content. The top stories module includes features such as the Reeve Report, which gives fans an inside look at the thoughts of head coach Cheryl Reeve. The website's home page will also feature more original video content, such as press conferences, highlights and community events.
LynxBasketball.com's new design will also include the Courtside Box, giving fans access to the team's game information. The Courtside Box, located above the top story module, lists both the team's recent and upcoming games, as well as providing links to game recaps, box scores and highlight videos.
The home page is also integrated with the team's official Twitter and Facebook accounts. These accounts give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the organization, as well as exclusive giveaways and ticket deals. In order to access these special offers, follow the Lynx on Twitter at @MinnesotaLynx or at their Facebook fan page.
The Lynx will tip off the season with their home opener on Sunday, June 5 at 2:30 p.m. when they host the Los Angeles Sparks at Target Center.
