Minnesota Lynx Announce Summer Youth Camps
Lynx Players Janel McCarville and Seimone Augustus to Appear at Locations
MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL � The Minnesota Lynx and Timberwolves Basketball Academy today announced it will be hosting two basketball camps this summer: June 4th in Coon Rapids and July 1st in Edina. Each camp session costs $49 and is intended to teach girls the fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, passing and defensive skills.
With the camp fee, each participant receives a Lynx/Timberwolves T-shirt, a voucher for one ticket to a Lynx game and an opportunity for a photo and autograph from a Lynx player, as well as instruction from Lynx staff members. Attendees will learn skills such as how to set a "Janel McCarville screen" along with executing the "Seimone Augustus crossover" from the pros themselves.
