Lea B. Olsen
Sideline Reporter and Wolves Vision In-Arena Host, Minnesota Timberwolves

Lea currently is the sideline reporter for the Minnesota Timberwolves and in-arena host for Wolves Vision, Prior to joining the Wolves, Olsen spent five seasons working on ESPN's WNBA broadcasts. Olsen also served on the broadcast team of the Minnesota Lynx from the inaugural season in 1999 to 2000. She has also served as a University of Minnesota women's basketball analyst and has worked in the front offices of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota State High School League.

A former player and tri-captain on the University of Minnesota women's basketball team, Olsen received the Party Berg Award for academics as well as the Fast Break Award and Coaches Award for her efforts both on and off the court. She graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota in 1990.

A native Minnesotan, Olsen attended Minneapolis South High School and played one year of basketball, earning all-city and all-conference honors while leading her team in rebounding. Growing up the youngest of six children in inner-city Minneapolis, Lea's unique family stressed education. All six children graduated from University of Minnesota.
