AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- The first-place Detroit Shock will try for their fourth straight win on Tuesday morning at The Palace of Auburn Hills when they play host to the Cleveland Rockers.

The Shock improved to 9-4 against Eastern Conference clubs on Saturday, when Deana Nolan hit a 14-foot jumper with 2.2 seconds left for a 58-57 win in Cleveland. Swin Cash led Detroit with 14 points, Cheryl Ford had 11 and Elaine Powell added 10.

Cleveland bounced back from the defeat with a 59-57 overtime win at Charlotte on Sunday. Penny Taylor scored five of her 18 points in overtime, including a 3-pointer 48 seconds into the extra session that put the Rockers ahead to stay at 55-52.
