AUBURN HILLS, Mich.,June 20 (Ticker) -- Swin Cash woke up in time to give the Detroit Shock their longest winning streak in four years.

Cash scored all 15 of her points in the final 8:49, including a pair of free throws with 21 seconds left, as the Shock extended their winning streak to five games with an 88-83 victory over the New York Liberty.

Ruth Riley and Deanna Nolan each scored 18 points for the Shock, who rallied from a 13-point deficit over the final 11 minutes.

The Shock have their longest winning streak since a five-game run from July 12-23, 1999. They won a franchise-record six straight games during the 1998 season.

Crystal Robinson scored 22 points and Tamika Whitmore had 20 for the Liberty, who fell to 1-3 on the road this season.

The Liberty appeared to be in control after Vicki Johnson had a pair of baskets and Tari Phillips sank a pair of free throws to make it 81-75 with 2:34 remaining.

But Detroit closed the game with a 13-2 run, with Cash and Riley each scoring four points.

New York took its last lead on a pair of free throws by Becky Hammon with 1:04 left to make it 83-81 with 64 seconds left. Riley tied the game on a jumper with 51 seconds left.

After Cash sank a pair of free throws, New York still had two more chances. But Hammon turned the ball over and Robinson missed a 3-pointer with four seconds left after Detroit's Elaine Powell hit 1-of-2 free throws.

Five players scored in double figures for the Shock. Kedra Holland-Corn had 14 points and Powell added 11.
