Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry didn't take the loss sitting down, dominating much of the game with a spectacular 33-point performance, including a WNBA Finals record 19 points in the third quarter.

McCoughtry went 11-for-12 from the free-throw line, grabbed five rebounds, made three steals and blocked two shots for the Dream and took solace in the fact that her team played well for much of the night prior to a late-game breakdown which ultimately put them in a 1-0 series hole.

"The crowd energizes them and it just weighs you down," said McCoughtry. "It's good to know that we were the ones that kind of messed ourselves up. That's a good thing for us because we can adjust that."
