Becky Hammon wore protective gear over her right shoulder during the series, which was fitting as the 12th-year pro out of Colorado State carried much of the load for the Silver Stars.

Hammon managed 15 points, five assists and three steals in the Game 3 loss, but her clutch, never-say-die performance in Game 2 in San Antonio was largely responsible for the Silver Stars forcing the series back to Minnesota against the top-seeded Lynx.
