What do you remember about hitting that shot?
Weatherspoon: "Everything, I guess. I don't know how to explain it. I don't reminisce about it. I think more people do the majority of reminiscing than I do. It just gave us an opportunity to play another game. I don't even know what to say. It's an awesome shot...
"I just remember telling Kym Hampton to throw it to me and Tina Thompson was on my left-hand side and it just gave me an opportunity to heave it with my right hand. And I threw it up, and as it was travelling toward the basket it just looked like it was going to go in."
What was it like afterwards?
Weatherspoon: "Everybody was excited, it gave us another opportunity to move forward in our quest. I guess probably the thing that I remember most is after Tina Thompson makes the shot, the crowd's going crazy, as if they'd already won, the cameras are ready to start snapping them as champions already, the confetti was actually coming down, the crowd was going crazy. And after the ball went in, it was like from an arena to a library. So that's one thing that I will always cherish, knowing that we shut a crowd up."
