Tammy Sutton-Brown is leading Canada to their first World Championship since finishing seventh in 1994. The Markham, Onterio native averaged 10.3 points and 7.3 rebounds for Canada as they finished 10th in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and averaged 14.8 points to lead Canada to a bronze medal finish at the 2005 FIBA Americas Tournament to help Canada earn a 2006 World Championship berth.

Sutton-Brown was selected by Charlotte in the second round of the 2001 WNBA Draft and recently completed her sixth season with the Sting. The 6-4 center was selected as an All-Star in 2002 and holds career averages of 11.2 points and 5.9 rebounds in 193 career games.
