Skinny: The phenom turned in her best performance of the season by scoring a career-high 40 points and adding 16 rebounds, six assists and five blocks in an overtime win over the Comets on July 9. She also hit a clutch free throw to force the overtime period. "She's only getting better,'' Sparks coach Michael Cooper said of Parker, who now leads the league in rebounding with 9.5 per game. "I think she's starting to figure this league out, and she's starting to figure out how our team can function and evolve with her - not around her, but with her."

Skinny: Wiggins continues to prevent Parker from running away in the race for top rookie and was honored as the Hanns-G 'Go Beyond' Rookie of the Month for June after averaging 18.6 points a game last month. She has scored in double figures in 18 straight games and has made at least one 3-pointer in eight of her last nine contests.
