"If there's a spa, I like to get a massage. I think that's important to take care of your body when you play a game professionally that's physical, and other than that I'm really a homebody. Even when I'm on the road, I usually order room service or watch movies in my room. Or I will go out to dinner if I know someone in the city, but usually I'm just in my room just relaxing and trying to get some rest."
Michelle
Snow, Houston Comets
"For me I like to read a lot, poetry.
I'm a homebody. I like to stay home, watch movies, hang out with my friends, that's
about it."
Becky
Hammon, New York Liberty
"Not much, I mostly just hang out.
On a really wild and crazy night I might go out to dinner or something."
Alana
Beard, Washington Mystics
"I'm not a person that does a lot,
but I have my doggy. When I have my doggy with me I'm all good. Her name is Chloe,
she's seven pounds, she's the best cuddle buddy ever. And that's what I do. I
sit down and lay with her because we don't get much down time, but when I do I
like to be a lazy bum on the coach and I do it with my dog. I can definitely watch
the Golden Girls, The Nanny, and The Cosby Show all day."
Rebekkah
Brunson, Sacramento Monarchs
"I'm a big movie person. I love
going to the movies. Right now I'm desperately waiting for Miami Vice to come
out."
Tamika
Catchings, Indiana Fever
"I like to shop sometimes, I have
to be in the mood to shop, my sister does a lot of my shopping. I love to read
and write, listen to music."

Christensen, Phoenix Mercury
"It's so weird because you would
think there is a lot of time but there isn't. It's airport, hotel, gym for practice,
games, but sometimes you go shopping or go to a movie or something like that.
But the great thing about the WNBA is you know someone in every city, and so it's
great to be able to hang out with friends and go to dinner or lunch or whatever."
Candice
Dupree, Chicago Sky
"Just hang out, sleep, or go on the Internet.
Go shopping every while and then sometimes go shopping when I am at home in Chicago."
Cheryl
Ford, Detroit Shock
"Deanna Nolan is my roommate, so we just
shop, watch movies, or I'm on the phone. I also like to read, I love reading romance
novels."
Scholanda
Dorrell, Sacramento Monarchs
"Not much, there's not much relax
time. I usually just lay in my room and relax, but sometimes depending on what
city we're in, I like to do some shopping."
Seimone
Augustus, Minnesota Lynx
"We just stay at the room, or go to
the mall, watch some DVD's. Stuff like that."
Yolanda
Griffith, Sacramento Monarchs
"During the WNBA travel it's
very hectic. Our schedule the last two and half years is we practice in the morning,
fly out, get to maybe Indiana or Chicago, get a decent meal, probably watch a
movie, get in the morning if you slept that night, breakfast, pre-game, go to
shoot around, get some lunch after, come back take a power nap, but after games
try to get a decent meal, try to not eat so late, try and get some rest, and get
up early in the morning. The most important thing is to try and eat decent meals,
try and work out, and you just have to get a certain routine and don't go outside
of it."

"To relax I mostly take a lot of naps. I'm always sleeping, especially on plane trips. The minute I hit that seat I'm knocked out. Otherwise, I shop, hang out, do regular stuff."
Asjha
Jones, Connecticut Sun
"There hasn't been much downtime this
summer, so you just sit down and watch TV, watch movies. I like pretty much anything
entertaining."
Diana
Taurasi, Phoenix Mercury
"You know I usually go out to dinner.
If there's a fellow Husky or a good friend on the other team, I usually go out
to dinner, get in early, get a good night's sleep, and then sometimes go shopping
if we're in Houston or Seattle, which has nice shopping, so probably that."
Tina
Thompson, Houston Comets
"I shop, I hang out, I'm a homebody
and I appreciate being at home because we travel so much. So when we go home,
I just like to chill out in my own personal space. I also love reading too. I
read a lot of books."
Sophia
Young, San Antonio Silver Stars
"Whenever I'm not playing,
on the road I try to rest as much as possible because it's usually game, travel,
game, travel. Sometimes I try to lay down as much as I can. At home it's the same
thing."
