Mom, Tuck Me In And Don't Forget To Box Out
WNBA players aren't just star athletes, they are also parents, making time to raise their children between battling each other on the court. Some of the more notable WNBA stars that are also moms are 2000 WNBA MVP Sheryl Swoopes of the Comets, 1999 WNBA MVP Yolanda Griffith of the Monarchs and 3-time WNBA All-Star Natalie Williams of the Utah Starzz.
The WNBA recently added a few new "rookies" to the family as Cleveland Rockers' guard Helen Darling gave birth to triplets in April (send Helen your congratulations), Indiana Fever guard Niele Ivey had a son in February, and Sting forward Shalonda Enis welcomed her second child into the world just last week.

Of course, you don't have to have children of your own to appreciate Mothers Day. WNBA players are also very proud of what their own mothers have meant to them in their lives. Members of the Phoenix Mercury recently took time to talk about how their role model moms have influenced them as women and athletes.
