What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
Ruth Riley: "I can't even remember any of the costumes. I think I was more focused on getting the candy than on what I was wearing."
Kara Lawson: "I just liked being a ghost. Just put a sheet over your head and cut some holes, it was easy. I didn't like getting all dressed up."
Coretta Brown: "I really didn't wear costumes. I just went door to door. Everbody knew who I was because I was tall for my age, so I just went for the candy. I made my own costume."
K.B. Sharp: "I think my football uniform. I always wanted to wear the football uniform and the helmet for some reason."
Nikki Teasley: "I didn't have a favorite. Sometimes I made my own."
LaToya Thomas: "I used to trick or treat, but I never wore a costume."

If you had to dress up this Halloween, what would you be?
Kara Lawson: "I'd probably go with the ghost again. I could just be a basketball player, that would be easy too."
K.B. Sharp: "I would dress up as Freddy Krueger."
Nikki Teasley: "An angel."

What was the candy you always hoped to get?
Ruth Riley: "Probably Snickers."
Kara Lawson: "I liked Twix."
Coretta Brown: "Laughy Taffy or Now and Laters."
K.B. Sharp: "I loved Nerds, especially the red ones."
Nikki Teasley: "Everything. I'd eat it all".
LaToya Thomas: "I just didn't like the peanut candy, that was the only type I didn't like. I was hoping to get Nerds or M&M's."

Halloween Traditions

Kara Lawson: "I remember my friends and I would compete to see who could get the most
candy by the end of the night, so we'd run from house to house and we'd always try to go to townhouse neighborhoods because the houses are right next to each other, so you don't have to go as far from house to house."

Nikki Teasley: "Eat all the candy before a week."
