Name: Danielle Green Title: Assistant Basketball Coach and military honoree. Where You've Seen Her: Green played basketball at Notre Dame and worked as an assistant coach at Washington High School in Chicago and at Chicago State. Defensive Specialist: Greenenlisted in the Army and served in a military police unit in Iraq. In May, she lost her left hand when she was struck by a grenade. Green now works with Impact Player Partners, an organization that helps improve the quality of life for disabled veterans returning from war. |
