Name: Dr. Nancy Belck Title: Chancellor, University of Nebraska at Omaha. Where You've Seen Her: Belck assumed her duties as UNO chancellor on September 1, 1997. First to Lead...: She had been chancellor of Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville since January, 1994. Earlier, she had served as provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at Louisiana State University, Shreveport. She also has held administrative and faculty positions at Central Michigan University, the University of Tennessee, the University of Arizona, and Michigan State University. Strike Up the Band: Her son is a member of the United States Air Force Band at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. |
