Sue Bird: "I am extremely honored and excited to be selected to the WNBA All-Decade Team. It was just an honor to be chosen for the initial list of 30 nominees, but then to make the top ten is amazing. This is a great group of talented women and this is truly one of the great accomplishments and highlights of my career."
Tamika Catchings: "It makes me feel good to know that people have followed me and respect me that much fo rme to be on the first All-Decade Team. It's certainly an honor to be involved with so many players who helped start the league. I think it's even more important to recognize some of the players even before the WNBA - people like Cheryl Miller, [Nancy] Lieberman, Ann Meyers. They are the ones who really helped get the ball rolling. They helped the WNBA get started and now it's our job to keep it going."
