NEW YORK, July 15, 2009 � Featuring the best female basketball players in the world, the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game will be played at the Mohegan Sun Arena and will be nationally televised on ABC on Saturday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m. ET. In addition to the on-the-court excitement, the weekend will highlight the league�s commitment to its fans and community outreach. The following is a complete listing of the 2009 WNBA All-Star activities:

Friday, July 24
WNBA Toyota Project Rebound
The WNBA, the Connecticut Sun, and Toyota are teaming up to unveil a renovated basketball court at the Windham Recreation Center in Willimantic, Conn. WNBA players will be on hand to host a special basketball clinic, which will include conditioning, dribbling, passing, and shooting activities for local youth groups. The refurbishment is part of Toyota Project Rebound, a community initiative established by the NBA and Toyota Motor Sales, USA. The program includes 21 hands-on community service projects hosted by NBA, WNBA, and NBA Development League teams. The projects include court refurbishments, the creation of Reading & Learning Centers, and other Legacy Projects providing youth safe places to live, learn, or play.

WNBA All-Star Open Practice
The WNBA will host open practices for the East and West All- Stars on Friday, July 24, the day before the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game. The East All-Stars are scheduled to practice from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. ET. The West All-Stars will follow, practicing from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. ET. Arena doors will open at 2:30 p.m. ET. Media availability will take place between practices starting at 3:45 p.m. ET.

Saturday, July 25
WNBA All-Star adidas Tweet-Up Viewing Party
For the first-time ever, adidas, the WNBA and the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York will host a special viewing party for the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game airing on ABC. The first 75 fans to arrive will receive free food and the opportunity to win great prizes while taking part in interactive basketball activities on Center Court in the NBA Store. In addition, these fans will receive 20 percent off on all WNBA merchandise in celebration of the league�s premier event.

WNBA All-Star Pregame Challenge presented by Toyota
This event will showcase two competitions, the WNBA All-Star Skills Competition and the WNBA All-Star Three-Point Shootout. The Skills Challenge will have four teams of three competing in various timed courses of dribbling, passing, and shooting stations. The team with the fastest time wins. Six sharpshooters will compete in the three-point competition and will compete in the two-round competition with the top three finishers from the first round advancing to the finals. Five shooting stations will be set up around the three-point line, with four WNBA balls each worth one point and one "money ball" worth two points at each location. All participants will be announced at a later date. The competitions, which begin at 1:30 p.m. ET and serve as a prelude to the 2009 WNBA All-Star Game, are included in the price of admission to the game.
