All-Star Saturday
Jam Session, Skills Challenge and Dunk Contest
Saturday, Feb. 17

"Saturday was a full day at Jam Session, and Jam Session was packed! There were people everywhere enjoying the festivities. I started my day off at a private partner shoot on the main court at Thomas & Mack. Some of the close Partners with the NBA had the opportunity to go through some drills and scrimmage a little on the All-star court. Michael Cooper and some other NBA assistant coaches ran the clinic and I really just enjoyed myself joining in on some of the drills and mingling.

I had a little break after that and then headed over to Jam Session to run a WNBA Be Fit clinic with Katie Smith and Sherill Baker. We had a great time putting the kids through some shooting drills and then playing a little defense. We didn't have much room to work with and lot of kids wanted to participate, but we had a great and I think the kids did also. From there I moved onto a couple Read to Achieves and then it was off to the arena for the competitions.

I think the highlight was the NBA player-WNBA player-NBA legand shooting competition. I might be biased because I had to cheer on the WNBA woman. The dunk competition was exciting. It was amazing watching little Nate Robinson dunk, but I think the first round of dunks were the most exciting."
