I am very thankful for many things this holiday season. The number one thing I am thankful for is my life. It is truly a blessing to me to be able to wake up everyday and live life. I am very thankful for my family. I am very thankful for the ability to play basketball. I am very thankful to be able to play basketball overseas, and to get to see different parts of the world that I wouldn't normally get a chance to see. I am thankful for all the different people I have met, and have become friends with.

I will definitely be missing Thanksgiving this year. I will miss getting to see my family. And I will definitely miss my mom's stuffing!!!

I am thankful to be able to play with all of my WNBA teammates. They are a great group of women, and I am lucky to have the chance to play with them, and be friends with them.

This holiday season I am most thankful for life and love. Sometimes we take life for granted and we get wrapped up in worrying about all the things that go wrong in our lives and we dont take time to appreciate the fact that we are living! I am so grateful that God continues to bless me day after day with another chance to live! As for love, I am thankful that I am surrounded by people who love and care about me as a person. I have the best family and friends that anyone could have and I am going to make sure that this holiday season I display how thankful I am of them..

Thanksgiving plans...
I will be spending my Thanksgiving holiday with my family and friends. Every year we pick a house to have dinner at and this year it will be at my cousins new 5 bedroom house in my hometown of Bakersfield. We have a huge family (30 or more adults and kids), and our tradition is to play the word game "Catch Phrase". My family is very loud and crazy so you can only imagine the fun that we have Thanksgiving day.

Although I love all my WNBA teammates, I am most thankful to be playing with Alana Beard, Tamara James, Crystal Robinson, and Delisha Milton-Jones. They have all accepted me in to thier own personal families and they have made Washington a comfortable home away from home. I can not wait until we meet up again!

Every year I'm thankful for the same things, it never changes. I'm happy that my family and friends are healthy and that we have one another and hopeful that others have the same love.

I will be spending my Thanksgiving in Russia this year, which is a first. What I will miss most is being close to family and friends as well as my kitchen. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and my favorite meal to cook.

I'm thankful for all my teammates past and present. They have all played an important role in my career successes, and for that I am thankful. I am most thankful for Kim Perrot, Tammy Jackson, Tiffani Johnson and Kelley Gibson. They helped me through some tough times in this game and I love them and I am truly blessed to have them as friends and teammates.

Most thankful for...
I am most thankful for my family and friends. When you travel and live so far away from your family you really get excited to have the chances to go home and spend some quality time with those people that mean so much to you. I also am thankful for friendships. When I was in college I was spoiled to have had some of my best friends living right next door to me, so now that we are all in all different places in the world, I realize how easy I had it in college and how fortunate I was. I would also say that I am thankful for our troops and for the freedom that we have. There are so many things that we don't have to worry about because of their efforts and what they do for our country!

I am spending Thanksgiving down in Florida with my mom and grandparents. I have a wedding to go to in Chicago on the 18th and then I'm driving my grandparents car from Chicago to Florida with my mom and meeting my grandparents down there; on the beach!!

I would have to say that I am extremely thankful to have been given the opportunity to play with my former teammate from UConn, you may have heard of her, Diana Taurasi. Not only is she one of the best players in the country, she is great to be around. All of my teammates are a ton of fun and we all get along great, so I really am thankful to be playing with all of them! PS. Penny get well!

How will you be spending your Thanksgiving holiday this year?
I'll be spending time with my family for Thanksgiving. I haven't decided whether to go to St. Louis, MO, or to stay here in Indianapolis, IN. Either way it goes I'm going to eat GOOOOOOOD!!

Which of your WNBA teammates are you most thankful to be playing with?
I'm thankful to be playing with all of my teammates!! They have all brought something special to our bond as teammates.

I will be spending Thanksgiving with my mom, brother and his family. I am a little sad this Thanksgiving because my sister is over in Iraq (Army) and won't be home. So in all seriousness to the first question, I am thankful to all the men and women who put on a uniform and make constant sacrifices and represent our country.

Teammates, well that is a long list. . . I am thankful for Cheryl because that means that i never have to rebound. . . I am thankful for Deanna because she is so quick. Half the time I don't have to run down the court . . .I am thankful for Katie because let's face it, she can flat out score . . I'm thankful for Swin because since she can post up other small forwards, I can just hang out around the free throw line. . . and last but not least, I am thankful to Bill for yelling at the refs so much--we never get a call :-)
