Where Are They Now - Jessie Hicks

Throughout the 2012 season, which marks the 10th Anniversary of the Connecticut Sun, we will be taking a look back at the members of the 2003 roster that went 18-16 and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. The fifth member of the team that we are catching up with is Wendy Palmer. Read the previous installments:

How She Joined The Sun: Jessie was a member of the Orlando Miracle team that relocated to Connecticut in 2003. She had been added to the Orlando roster in 2000.

Sun Career: Jessie played one year in Connecticut, appearing in 27 games. One of her best moments for the franchise came on July 17, 2003, when she set what was then a team record with six offensive rebounds in a half against Seattle.

After Connecticut: Jessie signed a free agent contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars, where she played her final season in the WNBA in 2004.

Today: Jessie is currently a school counselor at Harvie Elementary School in Virginia.
