How She Joined The Sun: Debbie was selected by Connecticut with the 6th pick in the 2003 WNBA Dispersal Draft from the Miami Sol.

Sun Career: Debbie played two full seasons for the Connecticut Sun, appearing in a total of 65 games. Her scrappy, hustling style of play made her a fan favorite, and her high intensity approach to practice helped rookie Lindsay Whalen make the transition to the WNBA in 2004.

After Connecticut: Debbie retired shortly before the start of the 2005 WNBA season. She is currently in her seventh season as an assistant coach with Ohio State.
