Where Are They Now? - Courtney Coleman

Throughout the 2012 season, which marks the 10th Anniversary of the Connecticut Sun, we will be taking a look back at the members of the 2003 roster that went 18-16 and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals. The fourth member of the team that we are catching up with is Courtney Coleman. Read the previous installments:

How She Joined The Sun: Courtney was the first draft pick in the history of the Connecticut Sun, taken in the second round (13th overall) of the 2003 WNBA Draft out of Ohio State after a stellar career with the Buckeyes.

Sun Career: Courtney played one season with the Sun. She was waived during training camp in the summer of 2004.

After Connecticut: Courtney played professionally overseas in Greece and Israel. Today, Courtney works for Verizon Wireless in Dublin, Ohio. She also does color commentary for preseason Ohio State women’s basketball games with the Student Big Ten Network.
