It's always a party when Sun season ticket holders get together. The annual season ticket holder event for 2005 was an ice cream social with the players and coaches. Hundreds of season ticket holders gathered in the Mohegan Sun Convention Center for make-your-own sundaes and the opportunity to interact with the Sun team. Early on, fans had a chance to ask the players and coaches questions. The players answered questions on topics such as league officiating, impending playoff match-ups and Katie Douglas' upcoming wedding. After the Q & A, the players had ice cream and mingled with the crowd. Door prizes were also awarded to lucky ticket holders and everyone in attendance received a commemorative ice cream scooper.
