Terri Florio, Solar Power Assistant Coordinator

Terri Florio is thrilled to jump into the position as Assistant Coordinator of the Connecticut Sun’s Solar Power Dance Team, Munchkins and Senior Sun dancers. Terri was a four year member and captain of the Solar Power Dance Team. Using her experience with Solar Power and the Connecticut Sun, Terri is excited to assist Andrea Ricci with all three dance teams. In the past four seasons, Terri has brought energy and spirit to the Mohegan Sun Arena at each home game and will help create an electrifying atmosphere for the Connecticut Sun fans this season.

Terri began her dance and gymnastics training at Kingston Dance and Gymnastics in North Kingstown, R.I. She was a four year member of the Providence College Dance Team and has judged numerous high school and collegiate dance competitions. Terri was the head coach for the championship winning St. Mary Academy – Bay View Dance Team from Riverside, R.I., for four years and has also devoted many years to teaching gymnastics at Aim High Academy in East Greenwich, RI.. As a member of the Solar Power Dance Team, Terri has had some wonderful experiences dancing in front of the WNBA’s greatest fans, attending ProDance, a dance convention for professional dancers, as well as appearing at various charity functions, Connecticut Sun events and television appearances. Terri is looking forward to another fabulous season with the Connecticut Sun. Go Sun!
