Sun Overseas Round Up 2

Renee Montgomery picked up a double-double with 14 points and 11assists to go along with three rebounds but it was not enough as Nadezhda Orenburg was edged by Municipal Targoviste on November 11th in a Euroleague Women Group B game. Montgomery is averaging 13.0 points, 6.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds in Euroleague action for Nadezhda.

On November 11th, Montgomery had seven points, four assists and one steal in an 87-75 win over Spartak Moscow Region in Russian League action. The Sun guard is averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in two Russian League games.

Sun center Tina Charles had eight points, two rebounds and two assists in just 10 minutes of action as TS Wisla Can-Pack defeated PTK Pabianice on November 11th in Polish League play. Charles is averaging 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in two Polish League games.

On November 15th, Danielle McCray had nine points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals as Famila Schio picked up a 74-49 in a Euroleague Women Group B game. McCray is averaging 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists in four EuroLeague games for the Italian squad.

Among other Sun players competing overseas, Mistie Mims is averaging 17.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in four games for Union Lyon Basket Feminin of France. She had 21 points, six rebounds and two steals in an 81-64 loss to Lattes Montpellier on November 10th. In Turkey, Asjha Jones scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out one assist as Kayseri defeated Gorizont 70-55 in EuroCup action on November 15th.
