Connecticut Sun forward Kelsey Griffin was named Australiabasket.com Player of the Week this past Sunday after pacing the Bendigo Spirit to wins on consecutive nights, collecting 29 points and 10 rebound with three made threes in an 84-76 win over the Adelaide Lightning on Friday (11/22) before routing the West Coast Waves 81-54 in Perth the next night.

Griffin had nine points and five rebounds in that victory, and is averaging 13.6 points and 8.2 rebounds for Bendigo, which is in first place with a 9-1 record.

Also in Australia, Kayla Pedersen had 13 points and 12 rebounds in a losing cause as the Dandenong Jacyo Rangers fell to Sydney, 76-67 last Saturday (11/16). Pedersen is averaging 14.1 points and 8.5 rebounds.

Connecticut Sun center Tina Charles had 22 points and five rebounds as Moscow Dynamo routed Spartak Noginsk, 88-57, in a EuroCup Group D game last Thursday (11/21) night in Moscow.

Charles is averaging 21.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in EuroCup play. Three days earlier, Charles had 13 points and six rebounds in a 79-61 victory over Energy Ivanovo in a Russian League game.

In Israel, meanwhile, Allison Hightower continued her strong play. She is averaging 16 points, eight rebounds and 2.7 assists for Elitzur Ramla (3-0), and on Wednesday (11/20), she had 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 78-52 win over Maccabi Ashdod.

Mistie Bass had 14 points and seven rebounds for Lyon in an 88-59 French League victory over Tarbes on November 16th. It was the sixth straight win for Lyon (7-1). Bass is averaging 13.9 points and 6.9 rebounds, and has reached double figures in six of eight games.

In Turkey, Tan White had 17 points and seven rebounds as Orduspor (2-5) snapped a five-game losing streak with a 69-63 victory over Ankara on November 16th. White is averaging 15.3 points, 2.7 assists and 2.4 steals.

Also in Turkey, Renee Montgomery had four points in two different games for Tarsus Belediyesi of Turkey a 75-70 loss to Gorizont in EuroCup play Thursday (11/21) and a 75-73 loss to Antakya on Sunday (11/17) in Turkish League play.

On Saturday night in Istanbul, Alba Torrens went 4-for-4 from the field with two threes, finishing with 10 points in limited action as Galatasaray easily won its eighth straight Turkish League game, 74-38, over Ceyhan Bid.

Two nights earlier in Galatasaray, Torrens had 17 points and four rebounds in a 63-50 EuroLeague win over Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region. She is averaging 18 points per game and is 12 of 12 from the free throw line in EuroLeague.

In that same game at Galatasaray, Asjha Jones had eight points, three rebounds and three assists for Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region. She is averaging 10 points, 4.5 rebounds and four assists in EuroLeague play.

In Hungary, Kelly Faris is averaging 7.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists in six games in the Middle European League for UNIQUA Euroleasing Sopron. On November 16th, she had 12 points, three rebounds and two steals in a 70-66 win over Good Angels Kosice.
