Mistie Bass had her first double-double of the season for Lyon, France, collecting 16 points and 13 rebounds in a 50-45 win over Nice during FIBA Eurobasket action on Saturday, October 26th.

Bass is averaging 15.4 points and 7.6 rebounds for Lyon (4-1), and has scored in double figures in four straight games. She had a season-high 21 points with nine rebounds three nights earlier in a 72-67 victory over Landes.

In Australia, meanwhile, Kayla Pedersen had her best game of the season Saturday (10/26), collecting season highs of 17 points and nine rebounds as the Dandenong Rangers cruised to a 90-36 rout of the West Coast Waves in a WNBL game. Pedersen is averaging 12 points and seven rebounds for undefeated Dandenong (5-0).

One night earlier (10/25), Kelsey Griffin had 11 points and seven rebounds as the Bendigo Spirit (4-1) defeated the same West Coast Waves team, 79-53. The MVP of the WNBL Grand Final last year, when she led Bendigo to the league championship, Griffin is averaging 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She has reached double figures in four straight games with one double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) against Sydney on October 18th.

Dandenong and Bendigo play each other on October 31st.

On Sunday (10/27) in Mersin, Turkey, Renee Montgomery had four assists for Tarsus Belediyesi during an 84-60 loss to Fenerbahce Spor Kulubu. Tarsus is 0-3.

Also in Turkey, Tan White had six point, eight rebounds and five assists on Saturday (10/26) but Orduspor (1-2) dropped a 71-64 decision to Botaspor Adana. White had nine points and five rebounds three nights earlier in a loss to Fenebahce Spor Kulubu.

Elsewhere in Turkey, Alba Torrens had 18 points and six rebounds for Galatasaray in a 65-45 win over Mersin BSH BLD on October 26th. She is averaging 12 points per game.

Back on October 20th, Kelly Faris had six points, three assists and a pair of rebounds as Uniqa Euroleasing Sopron routed Piestanske Cajky, 73-45. Six days later, she played nine scoreless minutes in a 70-62 win over WF DVTK.

Earlier this month, Asjha Jones had six points and two rebounds in just 19 minutes as Spartak Vidnoe Moscow Region crushed Dynamo Guvd Novosibirsk, 78-55.

Allison Hightower is playing in Israel for Elizur Ramla. Her games start November 4th. Sydney Carter and Iziane Castro Marques will play in Brazil, where play begins in December.
