Dish and Assist Hero Award
During regular season home games the Connecticut Sun would like recognize a “Dish & Assist Hero”. This program honors those individuals who have made an overwhelming impact on the lives of others. The “Dish & Assist Hero” award is given to an individual(s) and/or organizations that have made exceptional and lasting contributions to our community through their unique commitment and humanitarian spirit. The Connecticut Sun is currently accepting nominations for its 2006 “Dish & Assist Hero” award. Anyone can nominate a neighbor, friend or relative who is a firefighter, policeman, rescue worker, or just an everyday hero like a teacher or community leader making a difference. Your nomination should be an explination in 150 words or less as to why your nominee is deserving of the Dish & Assist Hero Award. One “Dish & Assist Hero” will be selected for each of the home games.
Heroes will receive:
Winners will be selected by the Connecticut Sun staff. A “Dish & Assist Hero” will be selected based upon the level of commitment and/or contributions to the community.

The Connecticut Sun will start accepting nominations on an on-going basis starting Monday, March 6, 2006.
