High School Tour Stops In New London
The Connecticut Sun continued its 2005 Girls’ High School Basketball Tour Tuesday night at New London High School. The New London High Girls took on Wheeler High. Sun players Jess Brungo and Lindsay Whalen met with both teams before the games to sign autographs and talk basketball.
At half-time Lindsay, Jess and Blaze awarded raffle prizes. Two young participants competed in a “Dizzy Bat” contest.
The next fun stop will be at Old Saybrook High School when OSHS takes on Westbrook High School. Tip-off is at 7 PM.
