Where were you when you found out you had been drafted?
I was invited to the Draft so I was there.

Who was the first person you called?
Coach Landers. He already knew. I had to get at him. We have a funny relationship so we get to laugh about a lot of things. We kinda got to laugh about some stuff. He kind of reminds me of Coach Thibault. I haven’t seen Coach Thibault in full action yet, but I’ve heard a couple stories about him.

If you weren’t at Sun training camp today, where would you be?
Hopefully at somebody else’s training camp.

Did you have a favorite basketball player growing up?
One of my favorite WNBA players growing up, because I met her at a young age, was Teresa Weatherspoon. She gave me the mindset to work on my defensive game as well as my offensive game, to be two-sided.

Is there a player you look forward to playing with or against?
All of them are pretty legendary. Some of the veterans like Lisa Leslie and I’ve always wanted to meet Tamika Catchings. She’s got a great game. She can do it all, so I’m excited to see her in action.

What would Sun fans be surprised to learn about you?
Probably that I’m a vegetarian. Most people don’t know that.

What strengths do you bring to the Sun?
I have an offensive and defensive side to my game. Usually at Georgia, I guard the toughest person to guard. I’m used to playing good people. I just feel like I have a lot of intensity and I work real hard. I’m excited to play.

What sport other than basketball do you enjoy playing?
Golf. I took up golf a lot this year. I took it as a class in school. I heard there’s a golf course out here so hopefully I can go out there on an off-day.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to shop, go to the movies. I watch a lot of movies, have a lot of movies. That, or shop and now play golf.

Is there a TV show you can’t miss?
The Sopranos.

If you had to sing karaoke, what song would you sing?
I wouldn’t choose one. I cannot sing. I know what I can do and I know what I can’t do!

Favorite movie?
Shawshank Redemption. Or Forrest Gump.

Favorite book?
The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
If you want something, go get it. My mom told me that all the time.
