As of right now, the card does not work for discounts in Winter Essentials. However, it is possible that going forward, or with next year's subscription it may be good for additional discounts around property and on Sun merchandise outside of the arena. Currently, the card gives you a discount on merchandise in-arena only. I will work on the folks here for you and see what we can come up with!

Do you need any type of degree for basketball?
I am not too sure I know what you are asking...so let me answer both sides of the question. For basketball, the game, no degree but plenty of skills needed. I see it relating to merchandise manufacturers...candidate must be able to 'thread the needle' with tight passes, 'weave' through different defenses and kiss the ball off the 'fabric' of the backboard......as for folks in the office, all have degrees of varying type, but all are a minimum of a four-year college degree.

When is the expansion draft for the new Chicago team? Which six players will we protect?
The expansion draft for the Chicago team is a mere few weeks away. I don't know if the league will allow me to say exactly when (I do not know if it has been made public knowledge yet). Additionally, I am certain I can not make my protected list public knowledge. So, while I appreciate your question, and I think it is a good one at that, my hands are tied. However, I will let you know who they picked a bit down the road unless you read it in the paper first!

The All Star game last year at the sun was so much fun, I would like to know where and when will the 2006 game be. Thank you
Thank you for the note. Yes, the All Star game was a lot of fun - so much so, I would love to do it again - in a few years! It takes a lot of work and my opinion, is that it should travel from city to city each year. That said, it will be in a different location next year, more than likely in July, but I can not yet share with you date or location. Once I am given the green light, I will let you know the details!

Does the league control the food that the arena serve? I think if I can have a Krispie Kreme in my mouth while watching the Sun play live, I am in heaven. How about a CT Sun flavored donut.
Randy - Krispie Kreme is not the answer! Watching the Sun play is heaven, the KK experience is just additional clouds! Anyway, since I have shared nothing, these are the facts: We (Mohegan Sun) controls the arena food. It is possible, and certainly a suggestion worth passing on, to sell KK in the arena. Hey, if it is going to help you feel like you are in heaven, how can I say no?

Not a question but a comment. I have just returned from Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA from doing search and rescue operations for animals. One night after returning from New Orleans, loading up my truck for the next day and getting a cold shower, I had put on one of my Sun T-shirts to get a bite to eat. Sitting in the "mess-tent" I must have had at least 30 other volunteers from all over the world/USA comment on the Sun and the WNBA!! To be honest, I was amazed!! At first, I was exhausted, hungry and cranky but, when they wanted to talk about the Sun and the WNBA, my spirits lifted. We talked for over an hour and a half!! I went to bed that night with a smile on my face and a renewed energy to continue my rescue operations. (The next day me and my partner rescued 3 dogs, 4 cats and 2 rabbits :)
GO SUN/FANS/WNBA!!!!! Thank you for bringing us over the hump!!!
Wow. Now that is pretty cool! First, thanks for your efforts in helping with animal rescue in New Orleans. Second, as you are sure to know, the Sun donated over $71,000 to the relief efforts. That disaster is still hard to fathom, but as i write this, hurricane Wilma is lashing out over the resorts of Cancun and Cozumel...it’s been an unfriendly year for natural disasters. I am glad that the Sun was able to give you some relief from your work, and helped carry you through, but quite honestly, it is folks like you who help carry all of us through. Thank you.
