Over 300 guests were in attendance on Saturday, October 6th, when Connecticut Sun point guard Lindsay Whalen married fiancée Ben Greve. The wedding was held at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Lindsay’s home town of Hutchinson, and the reception was held at the Hutchinson Event Center. Among those in attendance were Sun coach Mike Thibault and his family, Katie Douglas and her husband Vasilis Giapalakis, former Sun point guard Debbie Black, and University of Minnesota women’s basketball coach Pam Borton. Following the wedding, Lindsay and Ben enjoyed a short honeymoon in Wisconsin before Lindsay flew to Prague, where she is playing during the offseason.
