Busy Weekend For Sun

It was a busy weekend for the Connecticut Sun as the team made its second-to-last stop on the Girls’ High School Basketball Tour on Friday night and then hosted the Valentine’s Day Breakfast with Debbie Black on Saturday morning.

Sun players Jessica Brungo and Debbie Black visited Fitch Senior High School on Friday to watch the Falcons take on the Killingly Redgals. Before the game, Jess and Debbie met with both teams to sign autographs and answer questions. The players also discussed the importance of playing hard and having fun on the court.

At halftime, Jess, Debbie and Blaze awarded raffle prizes to some lucky fans and tossed Sun t-shirts into the crowd. Two young fans also competed in the ‘dizzy bat’ contest.

The Connecticut Sun will be making the final stop of the Girls’ High School Basketball Tour on Tuesday, February 15 at Bacon Academy in Colchester. Tip-off is at 7PM.
