The Connecticut Sun, Fox 61 and CW 20 would like to recognize a “Dish & Assist Hero”. The Dish & Assist Hero Award honors those individuals who have made an overwhelming impact on the lives of others. This award is given to an individual(s) and/or organization(s) that have made exceptional and lasting contributions to our community through their unique commitment and humanitarian spirit. See last year's honorees.
Anyone can nominate a neighbor, friend or relative who is a firefighter, policeman, rescue worker, or just an everyday hero like a teacher or community leader making a difference. In 150 words or less describe in your own words why your nominee is deserving of the Dish & Assist Hero Award. One “Dish & Assist Hero” will be selected for each Connecticut Sun home game. Heroes will receive:
4 tickets to a Connecticut Sun game*
A commemorative plaque presented at center court*
A photo opportunity with a player
Photo and story on the website
Winners will be selected by the Connecticut Sun staff. A “Dish & Assist Hero” will be selected based upon the level of commitment and/or contributions to the community.
