The Connecticut Sun are currently accepting nominations for its 2005 "Cascade Dish & Assist Hero" award. Anyone can nominate a neighbor, friend or relative who is a firefighter, policeman, rescue worker, or just an everyday hero like a teacher or community leader making a difference. In a 150 words or less describe in your own words, you must ell us why your nominee is deserving of the Cascade Dish & Assist Hero Award.
One hero will be selected for each of the home games. Heroes will receive 4 tickets to a Connecticut Sun game, a commemorative plaque presented center court, a photo opportunity with a player, photo and story on the Connecticut Sun website and 1 years supply of Cascade.
All nominations must be mailed, emailed or faxed no later than Friday, August 26, 2005 to:
