Do you have what it takes to be a reporter for the Connecticut Sun?

If you are currently in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grades submit a 150 words or less telling us:
“I should be a reporter for the Connecticut Sun because…”

Five (5) lucky students will be selected to attend a Connecticut Sun home game and interview a Sun player just like the pros! Each winner will receive the following:


  • 4 tickets to a Connecticut Sun game*
  • WNBA Spalding Notebook
  • Pre-game media access period, where you can meet and interview players
  • A seat on press row for the first half of the game**
  • Your story/interview posted on the Connecticut Sun Website
  • Winners will be selected by Connecticut Sun staff. Winning entries will be based on essay content and will be determined based on the sole opinion of the Connecticut Sun staff. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

    Essay contest begins Monday, March 5, 2007 and ends Monday, April 30, 2007 at 5pm. NO EXCEPTIONS!
