On Tuesday, July 29th, six Connecticut Sun players participated in a basketball skills clinic at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass., to kick off a series of community appearances that will happen during the Olympic Break. From 1-2 p.m., Jamie Carey, Jolene Anderson, Ketia Swanier, Kerri Gardin, Amber Holt and Sandrine Gruda answered questions and taught approximately 100 children of all ages the fundamentals of ball handling, shooting and defense on Center Court. After the basketball was over, the players handed out prizes to kids who correctly answered questions about what they had learned and then signed autographs.
