Holt and Gardin Visit Mystic Seaport

On Monday, July 20, Connecticut Sun players Amber Holt and Kerri Gardin traveled to Mystic Seaport for a Reading Time-Out. After an introduction by Michael O'Farrell and Dallas Pride, Community Relations Manager for the Connecticut Sun, Gardin read Town Small and Nora, The Fifty Cent Dog written by local author Lolly Stoddard. At the end of each book, Holt asked questions to the crowd about the books for children to have a chance to win a great Connecticut Sun prize.

Once all the prizes were given out, Holt and Gardin answered questions from the audience and took a group photo with all the children in attendance. The group also read the Reading Pledge aloud and then Holt and Gardin were available to sign autographs for all attendees.
